Marigold Golden Retrievers is located in the small peaceful rural community of Seven Mile Bay, North Carleton, Prince Edward Island, Canada. Lush green fields, beautiful beaches and salt water from the Northumberland Strait, which overlooks the Confederation Bridge, surround us.
Golden Retrievers have been part of our lives for over 25 years, although I grew up with sporting breed dogs since a young child. My life took a memorial turn in early 2003 when an eight week old female puppy named “Kiara” Can. Ch. Mariner Shall We Dance CGN was placed in my arms to come to her everlasting home with me in North Carleton by her breeders, my mentors and very cherished friends, Jonathan and Kathleen Chase of Mariner Kennels. Since that day Kiara has been a part of my very soul and through her I continue to understand the epitome of what the Golden breed represents – impeccable temperament, beauty, intelligence, willingness to please and unconditional love.
In 2005 another wonderful Mariner Golden Retriever puppy joined our family “Glory” Can. Ch. Mariner For Your Eyes Only SDHF BIS BISS. She follows closely in her aunt Kiara's footsteps by being a top show dog here in the Maritimes.
I am a member of the Canadian Kennel Club, Golden Retriever Club of Canada, Maritime Golden Retriever Club and the Golden Retriever Club of America.
